Trudi is a Lymington based Environmental Artist known for her sculptures and murals. Painting and observation of her immediate environment is core to her practice. The paintings are the more personal side of Trudi's work. Extreme weather events and Climate Change inspires these New Forest and Solent based watercolours.
They use traditional watercolour techniques; masking, washes, bleeding and applications of neat pigment applied in a loose, impressionistic style.
Trudi gained a distinction in her MA Design for the Environment; Public Art from UAL (University of the Arts London) in 2003. She has managed art studios for over thirty years. Recently she worked in the Ionian Islands Greece, has had work exhibited at the OXO gallery Southbank London and at the Mottisfont Open. Her Public Art works can be seen along the South Coast.
