I create dramatic and powerful abstract paintings in mixed media. My work is intertwined with an air of mystery and a fascination for the darkness. I often edge toward a palette of darker tones with the sole purpose of adding random flashes of light accentuated by marks and scratches cut into the substrate.
I believe that both viewing and purchasing art is as spiritual an experience as creating the work itself. By making the work that I do, I feel that a part of me will always remain within it. When someone connects with my paintings, a special bond is forged for life.
Based in Central London, I am fortunate to enjoy the best of both worlds. I have the constant energy of the inner city surrounding me yet I also have the natural beauty of vast acres of heathland just minutes away from my doorstep.
